Don Nelson, President of American Classic Homes, has 34 years of experience in the trade and is highly qualified in the technical side of building homes. Beginning in lumber yard sales and framing, progressing to custom home building, then joining the Charles Cudd Company, Don's proven expertise is apparent from his nine-year tenure as Vice-President of Construction for Cudd. Desiring to provide high-quality homes for the east side of the Twin Cities Metro area and western Wisconsin, Charles Cudd and Don Nelson partnered in 1998 to create American Classic Homes. Don built the company headquarters and 73 homes in Stillwater at Liberty on the Lake-the first Traditional Neighborhood Development in Minnesota.
